Project History: For this project we did programming and made robots. Before we built our robots, we were given a packet with experiments where we had to build certain circuits to become more informed and familiar with how everything works. After we completed the packet, we began making our robot using the Arduino boards and materials (buzzer, leds, wires, etc.). My partner and I decided that it would be the most fun to make ours play a song and have led lights flashing in the ping pong pattern where the lights go back and fourth flashing the lights one at a time in a row.
Concepts:
Current Law- The sum of the currents going into a connection must equal the sum of the currents leaving the connection.
Voltage Law- The sum of the voltages around a circuit must be equal to zero.
Resistor- A device designed to introduce resistance into an electric circuit. We used a 330ohm resistor. The leds receive current
from these.
Breadboard-an experimental arrangement of electronic circuits giving access to components so that modifications can be carried out easily.
Series- The total resistance of resistors in series is the sum of the resistors.
Parallel- You can add the resistors in a series to get the total resistance.
Circuit- A complete and closed path around which a circulating electric current can flow.
Current- The flow of electricity through a circuit.
Voltage- An electromotive force or potential difference expressed in volts.
Ohms Law- V=IR voltage equals current times resistance
Kirchhoff Law- Two qualities that deal with the current and potential difference of electrical circuits

Reflection: I learned a lot throughout this project. I didn't know much about circuits and programming going into this project, but I was glad cause in the end, our final product turned much better the my partner and I thought. My partner and I had a fun time with this project and we worked really well together. At the beginning of this project, I didn't know what a breadboard was, so I learned what that was, and I though it was really cool being able to make circuits that play music. I learned a lot from our mistakes. When errors popped up, we had to go back and fix them, so I learned a lot from that. Some problems we faced were trying to get the music play and the LEDs flash when we wanted them to and time management. After doing some tweaking, we were able to have the music and lights go when we wanted and time management was a challenge because we focused to much on trying to make it creative and different. We ended up finishing the last day we had! In the future I will try to become better with my time management.
